3 Spoon into eight well-greased 200ml ramekins (no more than two-thirds full to allow space for the mixture to rise in the oven). Set the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes until firm when pressed in the centre,Louboutin Sale.
2 Beat the soft butter with the sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the egg, beating well after each addition. Sieve the flour with the baking powder, then gently fold into the mixture in three batches with a large metal spoon. Stir in the dates and their liquid to make a thick batter-like mixture.
Who is your food inspiration?
What’s your favourite ingredient?
Chilli. I like things so hot they make my nose run and I start sweating. That’s not very ladylike, is it?
GREAT BRITISH BAKE-OFF’S STICKY TOFFEE PUDDINGS
My mum Susan and her twin, Aunt Helen,Prada Outlet, are the best cooks – they run a church cafe in Crawley. If my mum had auditioned for TGBBO she’d have got my spot.
The Peanut Butter Cup Pie I made in the American Pie round. It taught me never to cook things you don’t eat yourself. I hate peanut butter but had tried the pie on people and they said it was nice... maybe they were lying.

The atmosphere in The Great British Bake Off tent always seems very tense – what’s it like to be a contestant in there?
Which three people, dead or alive, would you invite to a dinner party?
Taste everything as you go,Tods Handbags. My husband always puts salt and pepper on before he’s tried things and it does annoy me.
FOR THE SAUCE
1 Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/gas mark 4. Put the chopped dates and bicarbonate of soda into a heatproof bowl and pour over the boiling water. Stir well, then leave to cool for about 20 minutes until lukewarm.
I can eat gherkins non-stop,North Face Australia, which everyone thinks is disgusting. And I can’t buy Nutella because I’ll eat it from the jar with a spoon...
5 Leave the puddings to cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes, then turn out on to serving plates. Serve warm with the sauce.
INGREDIENTS (SERVES 8)
What’s been your biggest disaster of the series,Genuine UGG?
4 Meanwhile, melt the butter with the sugar and rum over a low heat, then bring to the boil. Remove from the heat and whisk in the cream and ginger syrup (if using). Pour into a heatproof serving jug.
Nigella Lawson, who I love, Dawn French, who’s hilarious and I bet she’d get on well with Nigella, and Audrey Hepburn. That’d be interesting.
What’s your guilty food pleasure?
What’s your No.1 cooking tip?
It can get on top of you and make you reach breakdown point. It’s a good thing Mel and Sue are so funny all the time, and not just during filming. I was almost crying making a gingerbread structure and Sue said: “Er, it is just a gingerbread house,” and that put it in perspective.
